The LibreView system gives you clear, intuitive reports from numerous monitors and makes it easy to share them with your care team. Whether you upload your patients’ meters in your clinic, or they upload remotely from home,* your patients’ glucose data are stored safely in the cloud to be viewed by you at any time. The LibreView system is free and usually takes only a few minutes to get started.
* Note: The patient version of the LibreView system currently works with Abbott Diabetes Care meters only.
A “practice” consists of one or more healthcare professionals who can view the same group of patients. When you have a professional account in the LibreView system, your account is associated with at least one healthcare practice (even if that practice is just you). If you choose to invite other care team members to your practice, they will be able to see the same patient reports that you see for that practice.
The LibreView system is free. There are no initial start-up costs and no subscription payments.
The LibreView website requires one of the following browsers:
Safari release 10.1 or higher
Internet Explorer 11 or higher
Chrome release 37.0 or higher
Firefox release 32.0 or higher
Installed on a computer running:
Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10) or higher
Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 Anniversary update (or higher)
And with a display resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels.
We recommend using the most up-to-date version of your browser. Please note, Microsoft Edge is not a supported browser.
In order to upload data from a meter connected to the computer, LibreView will prompt you to install the LibreView Device Drivers (LDD). The LDD requires local administrator privileges to install on Windows and 8GB RAM or more and at least 200MB of hard drive space to run.
LibreView requires an Internet connection with at a speed of least 0.5 / 1 (download / upload) Mbps, and depending on the amount of data being transferred, sometimes at least 3Mbps.
